ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has recommended the caretaker setup to announce the federal budget for 2013-2014 through a presidential ordinance, Roznama Express has learnt.
An FBR source, on condition of anonymity, told Roznama Express that the ordinance will have to be then approved by the parliament within three months.
The source said the reason behind introducing the ordinance is to announce federal budget on time.
A draft of the ordinance has been sent to the law ministry for approval, the FBR source added.
